The Collective in partnership with Arete Education Inc. joined in Harlem to celebrate Juneteenth at the 3rd Annual  Juneteenth Freedom Fest NYC, Inc. (JFFNYC) on July 17, 2023.  JFFNYC takes place in Harlem to support the community, entrepreneurs, community based organizations, artists and most importantly Black culture.

Our engagement with Juneteenth supports the on going Feed Our Needs food insecurity efforts since 2020. Funds raised from this event directly supported 50 families of Arete students who received food vouchers in addition to raising funds for the Arete Summer Programs.
